The National Industry Awards, presented during the 2014 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing, recognized the highest achievers from all sectors of the manufactured and modular housing industries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cThese award winners are leading the way in providing outstanding products, value, customer service, creative solutions and state of the art homes that today\u2019s homebuyers desire. They are being recognized today for their leadership, vision and dedication in enhancing and moving the manufactured and modular housing industries forward,\u201d said MHI President &amp; CEO Richard Jennison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The winners of the \u201cLand-Lease Community of the Year\u201d and \u201cRetail Sales Center of the Year\u201d categories submit entries that are judged by an independent panel of professionals made up of representatives from academia, planning, community development, realtor, homebuilding and marketing professions. Awards are given in four regional areas of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The \u201cLand-Lease Community of the Year\u201d entries were judged based on a written statement supplied by the entrant, community aesthetics, marketing materials, site plan of the community,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> community and industry involvement, and the lease and covenants. The independent<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> panel of judges selected the following communities to receive awards:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">LAND-LEASE COMMUNITY OF THE YEAR AWARDS<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(Northeast\/Mid-Atlantic) \u2013 The Fairways at Mays Landing, Mays Landing, NJ<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(South) \u2013 Schalamar Creek Golf &amp; Country Club, Lakeland, FL<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(Midwest) \u2013 WeatherStone Village, Kalamazoo, MI<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(West) \u2013 Prairie Greens, Frederick, CO<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">RETAIL SALES CENTER OF THE YEAR AWARDS<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The \u201cRetail Sales Center of the Year\u201d award entries were judged based on an entry statement, management philosophy, retail center aesthetics, marketing materials and community and industry involvement.
