Steven P. Adler Earns National and State Awards

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 23, 2015) – The Manufactured Housing Institute honored Steven P. Adler, president and CEO of Fort Myers-based Murex Properties, with the MHI Chairman’s Award at the 2015 MHI Annual Meeting, held in early October in Boca Raton. MHI Chairman Nathan Smith recognized Adler for his leadership of the National Communities Council, his persistence in pursuing solutions to the challenges imposed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and his many hours of dedication to MHI efforts. According to an MHI news release, “His business is known for delivering high value to residents. Murex Properties, with operations in four states, focuses on serving the 55 and older market with an emphasis on unparalleled customer service, doing the right thing, and continuously striving to improve.”

Additionally, at the recent Florida Manufactured Housing Association annual convention in Orlando, Adler was honored with the highest accolade that the FMHA can bestow on a member – The Williams – Olsen Award. This award was established in 1975 and it is given to a member who has devoted an exceptional amount of time and energy to FMHA and the industry. Adler serves on the FMHA board of directors and executive committee and is FMHA’s membership chairperson. According to FMHA President Cindy King, “Jim (Ayotte, FMHA executive director) and I appreciate his perspective and great mind on many of the industry issues that are tackled daily. The industry is better because of him.”
